After School & Summer Camp

Camp 2026 Sign Up - June 15-19 and August 10-14. Details on camp offerings are linked under “Related Files” on the sign up sheet.

After School Sign Up - Will be released closer to start of school. Every full day of school, Evans offers extended care to 5pm. No after care on Fridays, as each Friday is early dismissal.

Summer Skills

There is one required reading book for each student entering third through 6th grade (view link below). Additionally we have compiled reading, writing, and math recommendations on the attached sheet. We hope students continue learning and working on their skills over the summer!

Uniforms

Evans Uniform Guide

  • Academix Apparrel sells our custom items and offers staples
  • Evans Spirit Shop sells sports clothes, ties, fleece, and some spirit wear
  • Land’s End carries a different version of the JK/K jumper, as well as gray dress uniform pants
  • Non-branded items can be from any store as long as the style matches. Polos can be purchased on your own and embroidered with “EVANS”. Ask Sarah Brumfield or the front desk for details.

Arrival and Dismissal

Arrival

  • School begins promptly at 8:30 am.
  • Children can be dropped off in the Evans driveway anytime between 7:55 am and 8:30 am. We recommend all children arrive by 8:25 am in order to unpack and get settled in their classrooms.
  • Children arriving after 8:30 am should be walked to the front office door for admittance, or if children walk in alone please call the school to notify the office to watch for them.

Dismissal

  • Children will be walked out to the bricks at their designated dismissal time. Teachers will put children in their cars.

Monday - Thursday are Staggered from 3:00 to 3:20

Friday & Early Dismissal Days are staggered from 12:20 to 12:40

Driveway & Safety Guidelines

Please ensure that ANY FAMILY MEMBER OR EMPLOYEE who drives your child to or from Evans, READS, UNDERSTANDS, AND COMPLIES WITH THE POLICY BELOW.

DRIVEWAY POLICY

  1. Wait until the eldest child’s dismissal time to enter the driveway.
  2. If traffic is backed up past Nautilus, please drive around and return when less congested.
  3. Always enter from the north, exit the south, and drive slowly with extreme caution.
  4. ALWAYS pull all the way down the driveway as far as possible, even if no traffic.
  5. Children can only enter/exit vehicles on the right side.
  6. Do not leave car unattended in the driveway (or leave children unattended).
  7. Do not enter the driveway in the left-hand lane, and during busy times, do not turn left when exiting the drive.
  8. Whenever exiting the car, park on the street or in an open space in Evans lot.
  9. Never park on Campina Place (cul-de-sac south of Evans).
  10. Children should buckle themselves in the car to keep traffic moving.

Please share this with anyone else who drives your child.

Lunch Options

Packing from Home

  • Children should bring a snack and water bottle daily.
  • Lunch should be brought Monday - Thursday, unless ordering elsewhere.
  • Please be sure to pack healthy snacks and lunches to sustain your child’s energy all day long.
  • It’s a good idea to pack two snacks on Fridays, since dismissal is past regular lunch time.
  • Candy should not be sent to school.
  • Please do not pack glass containers.
  • ONLY WATER should be sent to drink.

Pizza Thursdays

  • As an annual fundraiser, pizza on pearl is delivered to school on Thursdays for lunchtime.

  • Ordering is done twice a year. In August you’ll order for August-January, and in January you’ll place for February-June.

Ki’s Natural School Lunch

  • Monday through Wednesdays families can order from Ki’s, a local company offering healthy school lunch choices.
  • Entrees are ordered ahead of time, and include a daily side and unlimited fresh fruit and veggie bar.
  • Visit Ki’s Website and select create account. We recommend signing up on a computer, loading money, and then downloading the app!
  • Please place orders by noon the day before (9pm on Sundays). For a small additional fee you can order up until 8am the day of. You also can cancel up until 8am the day of, and receive a refund.

Other Lunch Options

  • Several restaurants will deliver lunches to school. It’s up to parents to order these. Please be sure to place the order under your child’s name.
  • Jersey Mike’s on Hershel will deliver to Evans for free. Please use their website, or call them directly. If using the app, choose store pickup, but write a note to deliver to Evans. Orders need to be placed by 9:30am.
  • Rubio’s also does free deliveries for orders of $20 or more.
  • To limit the number of delivery people coming to school, we kindly ask that you avoid using third party delivery services.
